Sometimes when we feel unwell, medication is not the answer. Sometimes, we need companionship, new interests or a change of scene to make us feel connected and motivated. Other times, we may need counselling or physical exercise to keep our bodies strong and our minds stimulated.
Our social prescriber Rebecca Cuthbert can help you to identify activities in the local area to build your confidence and encourage you to get started on your path to improved wellbeing.
Activities like arts and crafts, meeting people, physical exercise and cultural events can help you feel more included and happier in yourself. Counselling or advice and guidance may help you to work on other aspects of your life that are troubling you.
The social prescribing service is free of charge. Please speak to a member of the team if you wish to be referred.
