|At Harborne Medical and within the NHS we feel a real and deep sense of loss and sadness at the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.|
The day of Her Majesty’s funeral has been changed to a bank holiday and it is right that we make changes to our operational arrangements to ensure our colleagues can participate and pay their respects. It is with regret that this will mean cancellation of planned appointments and apologise for this inconvenience. We are working hard to rearrange these appointments as soon as possible and will be in touch with those patients affected.
The practice will run a very limited service, providing care to those with appointments that cannot or were unable to be cancelled. We are unable to provide an acute care service and will work as per usual bank holiday processes and direct patients to emergency care alternatives.
